Jute items, particularly jute furniture has their own place. The existence can be seen through the rustic furniture pieces in the form of the woven stools, woven beds, etc. For Indian households, these items were like the main furniture items used to enliven and enhance the surroundings. But with time, this rich ‘furniture’ culture has suffered with a great loss and ultimately lost its presence.
